Usually we start by reviewing your analytics and seeing where changes could be tested to improve the conversion rate. From here, we will run a test on something as small as the colour of a button or the complete page layout. It will be set up so that 50% of your visitors see the original design and 50% see the experiment. By doing this, we will be able to see which delivers the best results and make informed decisions about implementing changes or conducting further tests.

During a test, your day to day website will not be affected in areas such as site speed and traffic levels. The only way your website performance may be affected is if the test landing page or the experiential changes create more conversions or change the way in which users move across the page.

Tests can be stopped at any time and changes can be immediately implemented, so if we can see that an experiment is having little or a dramatic effect, we can act on this straight away.

The duration for each test will vary for every client, but typically tests should run for 3-4 weeks to collect a good amount of data. If you cut a test short, your results will be invalid and unreliable for directing decisions about changing your website.
